Aurangabad: The results of Gram Panchayat Elections, which are considered to be of great prestige in rural areas, were announced on Tuesday. Elections were held for a total of 2 thousand 73 gram panchayats in Marathwada. Almost all the results of the Gram Panchayat elections were declared late on Tuesday evening. Out of a total of 2 thousand 73 gram panchayats, the BJP (BJP) has captured 721 places by performing better.
At the same time, NCP won 452 places by winning the second place. Shinde faction has suffered the most in the Gram Panchayat elections. In Marathwada, the Shinde faction had to be content with only 123 seats.
BJP ahead in Jalna district also
According to the information received, the Shinde faction dominated in Aurangabad district. Of the total seats in the district, Shinde faction got 65, BJP 55, Thackeray faction 32, NCP 14, Congress 10 and others 18. In Jalna district also the best performance was of BJP. Of the total seats here, BJP has won 124, Shinde faction 8, Thackeray faction 31, NCP 69, Congress 16 and others 18.
NCP got second place
In Beed district too, the performance of BJP was the best as compared to other parties. Out of the total seats here, BJP captured 257 seats. NCP came second by securing 246 seats. In Beed district, Congress got 38 seats, Thackeray faction got 13 seats, Shinde faction got 6 seats. In Parbhani district too, other factions of BJP dominated. Here BJP proved its supremacy by securing maximum 38 seats. Here too, NCP secured 29 seats by coming second.

Shinde faction got a big blow in Parbhani district
The Shinde faction suffered a major setback in Parbhani district. He had to be content with only three places. Thackeray faction got 6 seats and others got 38 seats. In Latur district too, the BJP fared better, capturing 160 seats. After BJP, Congress performed better here and won 80 places. Apart from this, NCP secured 42, others 44 seats. In Osmanabad district too, the BJP fared better, bagging 55 seats. Here Shiv Sena got 31 seats due to better influence of Thackeray faction in rural areas. Shinde faction got 19, NCP 13, Congress 20 and others got 28 seats. The best performance of Congress was in Nanded district. Here Congress got maximum 57 seats. After the Congress, the NCP fared better here, winning 32 seats and the BJP winning 23 seats. In Nanded district, the condition of Shinde faction was bad. He had to be content with only 1 place. Notably, 44 seats went to the accounts of others here. In Hingoli district, the Shinde faction fared better, bagging 18 seats. Apart from this, BJP got 9, Thackeray group got 8, NCP got 8 and Congress got 6 places. Others got 6 seats. Overall, BJP performed better in 8 districts of Marathwada. After that the best performance was of NCP.
Congress continues to dominate in rural areas
The Congress also retained its dominance in the rural areas. Notably, the Congress fared best in Nanded district. Last month, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra had come in Nanded district. Its effect was also visible in the elections in the Gram Panchayat.
