In Gorakhpur district, there have been many incidents of women putting their loved ones (husbands) to sleep due to illegitimate relations and family reasons. Presently there are 20 women in the jail who are locked up as murderers in a love affair. Be it the story of Archana Yadav of Shahpur or Sushma of Cantt area.
No one can ever forget them. Once again the murder of relationships has come to the fore in Sahajanwaan. Here the woman killed her husband and two step-sons because of keeping a wrong eye on her step-daughter.
According to the information, whenever police caught the wife in the murder and sent her to jail, she had no remorse. Whatever may be the incident, the murderer wife tells jail a better life than outside, accusing her husband of harassment.
At present, 20 women prisoners are lodged in Gorakhpur Jail on charges of killing their husbands in love affair. Among them are Rundha wife Vijay Singh, Archana wife Dr. Om Prakash, Sushma Singh wife Vivek Singh, Shayra Khatoon wife Mohammad Hanif, Manita wife Rajdev, Pushpajanli wife Vinod, Neelam Upadhyay wife Omkar, Asha wife Vinod etc.
