In the town of PPganj police station area of Gorakhpur district, the dead body of a young man who had gone to bid farewell to his wife was found near his field. The family members who reached the information of the incident accused the in-laws of murder. Police sent the body for postmortem to know the cause of death. Police is investigating the matter.
According to information, Sikandar (24), a resident of Jungle Bihuli village, was married to Pooja, daughter of Ramjit, a resident of Barka Souraha. After spending just three months at her in-laws house, Pooja went to her maternal home. After which Sikandar was constantly trying to bid farewell to his wife, but Pooja was not ready to come to her in-laws house.
Sikandar went to his in-laws house at around 4 pm on Wednesday. At around seven in the evening, Sikandar’s relatives were informed that Sikandar was lying unconscious in the barn next to his in-laws’ house. After which he was taken to the medical college late night, where doctors declared him brought dead.
The deceased Sikandar’s elder brother Sanjay and his mother alleged that his wife killed the son along with the family members. The relatives have given a complaint. However, the in-laws of the deceased have termed all the allegations as baseless. Police Station President Deepak Singh said that action will be taken on the basis of post mortem report and investigation. The accused are being interrogated.
