In the emergency medicine ward number-14 of BRD Medical College, a case of assault between junior doctors and attendants has come to light. It is alleged that the attendants beat up the doctors. During this there was a stampede in the ward.

On the Tahrir of Dr. Mahim Mittal, Head of the Department of Medicine, a case has been registered against two unidentified persons including four named, including attempt to murder, rioting, tying up government work and other sections. Gulriha police is interrogating a home guard and another accused in custody.

According to the information, the health of Ghanshyam Rajbhar (55), a resident of Bhiswa of Pipraich police station area, deteriorated on Friday morning. The family reached the medical ward of the Medical College’s emergency. Doctors admitted and started treatment. Meanwhile, Ghanshyam’s daughter-in-law Goldie along with husband Pramod came to see him.

She started asking brother-in-law Rahul about his health. Meanwhile, the junior doctor came and a fight broke out during the altercation. It is alleged that in the meantime junior doctors gathered. Goldie Rajbhar alleges that a dozen junior doctors beat me, my brother Golu, brother-in-law Rahul with sticks. Because of this, Rahul’s head exploded.

Meanwhile, the guard closed the iron gate in the ward’s gallery. Relatives Ramkishun resident Kaptanganj Kushinagar and mother Meera and other attendants pushed the gate and broke it, then the lives of Rahul and Golu were saved. At the same time, Dr Mahim Mittal, Head of the Department of Medicine has alleged that Rahul and Golu were present in the Department of Medicine.

Necessary medicines were given to the patient. Both the attendants were obstructing the work by repeatedly asking about the patient. A person named Rahul called four to five people and started killing Dr. Sushant with the intention of killing him.

When Dr. Rohit Sharma, Dr. Vishnu Dubey, Dr. Asim Yadav, Dr. Avrar Hussain, Dr. Afroz Nayyar came to rescue, they were also beaten up. The police have started interrogation by taking home guards Jaigovind and Ramkishun into custody.

The emergency ward of the Medicine Department was affected for two hours amid the dispute. No patient could be treated during this period. More than a dozen patients ran away from the ward due to fear of assault. When the police arrived, the recruitment of patients started.

Case registered under these sections
A case has been registered against two unknowns including Rahul resident Bhiswa police station Pipraich, Golu resident Nakaha number one, Ramkishun resident Bharsa Narayan Kushinagar, Jaigovind resident Vishunpura Babu Chaurichaura on the complaint of Dr Mahim Mittal, Head of the Department of Medicine.

SP North Manoj Awasthi said that on the basis of the doctor’s Tahrir, a case has been registered under serious sections including attempt to murder, rioting. Along with this, two people are being taken into custody and interrogated. A team has been constituted for the arrest.
