Among the six old medical colleges of the state, the condition of BRD Medical College has improved to a great extent. In September and October this year, BRD got second rank in the state on the basis of medical arrangements in the medical college.
This ranking has been given on the basis of medical arrangements in six old medical colleges of the state. The ranking has been done by the government. In this, the figures of OPD, IPD, surgery and patients being discharged from the hospital have been seen.
According to the information, in December, the government has released the ranking of arrangements for treatment of patients in the medical colleges of Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Kanpur, Meerut, Agra and Jhansi. In this, on an average OPD 61,388, IPD 7,055, surgery 1,006 have been done in BRD in two months. During this, 300 patients were absconded. In this, BRD got 47 marks.
The best performance is of Motilal Nehru Medical College, Prayagraj. He got first rank even after getting 47 marks. Whereas, Kanpur-based GSVM Medical College has got the third rank, Meerut-based LLRM Medical College has got the fourth rank, Agra-based SN Medical College has got the fifth rank and Jhansi-based MLB Medical College has got the sixth rank.
Principal Dr. Ganesh Kumar told that BRD got fourth place in the ranking of July-August. Since then, the treatment system has been improved, the effect of which has been that the state has got the second position this time. The target is to get first position in the state next time. Instructions have also been given to the doctors regarding this.
