Relatives have also kept distance after Ahmed Murtaza Abbasi, accused of murderous attack on the soldiers posted in the security of Gorakhnath temple, was sentenced to death. There was silence in the house even on Tuesday, the second day after the sentence was pronounced. Only attendants of admitted patients were coming to the uncle’s nursing home located in the neighborhood. They were also closing the gate along with opening it.
According to the information, it has been revealed in the investigation of ATS that Murtaza wanted to prepare a nursery of Jihad. Murtaza had provided funding by sending money to several bank accounts before he was caught by the police.
The probe also revealed that Murtaza had bought a foreign SIM with dollars, which he used to search banned websites. Whatever money he collected during the job, he has spent it in preparing the nursery of Jihad. About eight lakh rupees were sent to different bank accounts in Syria through Nepal’s bank accounts.
