School bus hit bike rider, one died on the spot

A school bus rammed into a bike on Thursday afternoon near Mishrawaliya village of Gahmar police station area in Ghazipur. In this accident, the young man driving the bike died on the spot, while the young man sitting behind was seriously injured. The bus driver fled after the incident. Police reached the information, took the injured to the hospital and sent the body for postmortem.
Shashank Singh alias Shivam (16), son of Mrityunjay Singh, resident of Deval village of Gahmar police station, along with Smit Singh, son of Umrao Singh, was going home from Bhadaura market after shopping for Saraswati Puja by bike. He had just reached near Mishravaliya village when the school bus coming from behind hit the bike. Shashank alias Shivam died on the spot in this accident. While sitting behind, Smit Singh was seriously injured. About two dozen students were sitting in the school bus. The driver fled from the spot with the bus. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the Gahmar police station reached the spot. The injured was immediately sent to the hospital by ambulance. At the same time, the police sent the body of the deceased to the mortuary for postmortem. The deceased was the only child of his father. As soon as the information of the incident reached home, there was uproar among the family members. Father Mrityunjay Singh has given a complaint against the school bus driver in the police station. Police took the bus into custody and took the driver into custody. Inspector-in-charge Pawan Kumar Upadhyay said that on the Tahrir of the deceased’s father Mrityunjay Singh, legal action is being taken by registering a case against the driver Shashikant Kushwaha for taking possession of the bus.
Weeds in the village, the stoves did not burn
Shashank’s death has created chaos in the family. There is mourning in the village too. On Thursday evening, the stoves did not burn in many houses of the village. A large number of people reached the police station demanding action against the accused. Father Mrityunjay is becoming unconscious by crying. He is deeply saddened by the loss of his only beloved Shashank. The villagers were consoling him.
