Nikhat’s driver’s house raided in Chitrakoot jail case

The police raids of Chitrakoot and Hamirpur continued till late Sunday night at the ancestral residence of Nikhat Ansari, the driver of Mau MLA Abbas Ansari’s wife Nikhat Ansari. The next day, on Monday, the local police raided the houses of three close relatives of Mukhtar Ansari and interrogated them throughout the day. Due to this, there was a stir in the Muhammadabad area throughout the day.
Here, in the raid, the team recovered and seized a Meerut number white Scorpios bearing the name of Niyaz’s father Munna. While the cash received from the driver’s residence was Rs 4 lakh, Aadhaar, ATM, passbook etc. and other documents were sealed in a box and taken away with them.
Earlier, the raiding team excavated a part of the house under the supervision of police officers and family members with a spade and a shovel late on Sunday night at the behest of driver Niyaz’s father Munna Ansari. During that time the team recovered some documents. Which the team took into their possession.
