Ganga Vilas Cruise carrying 32 Swiss tourists from Kolkata will reach Varanasi on Sunday evening. Preparations have started for the reception at Ravidas Ghat by the Department of Tourism and Culture. After visiting Kashi, the tourists will leave by aeroplane. The new batch of 33-member tourists will reach Babatpur airport at 11.40 am on January 10 to depart for the cruise on January 13. Tourists will be welcomed with shehnai playing.
Special events will be held at Ravidas Ghat to welcome Ganga Vilas Cruise. After night rest, tourists will be taken on tour to Kashi Vishwanath Dham, Sarnath and other places. On Saturday evening, the cruise crossed the border of Veer Abdul Hameed bridge located in Ghazipur. On Sunday, the tourist will leave for Varanasi after visiting the tomb of Lord Cornwallis. Equipped with the facilities of a five-star hotel, the Ganga Vilas Jalyan has 18 suites. Apart from exercise and yoga, there is a facility of gym, songs and music. The ship carrying tourists, which left on December 22, was to reach Kashi only on January 6, but the fog has obstructed its speed.

Will visit tourist places
Varanasi. Swiss tourists will be exposed to the diversity of folk art and will visit cultural and tourist sites. Tourists will go to Navya grand Kashi Vishwanath Dham. After knowing the historicity of Dham, will visit Bharat Mata Temple at Sigra.

Tourists will visit for two days

The new batch of tourists will reach here on January 10. Tourists will go to Ravidas Ghat by boarding a Maharaja bus from the airport. After lunch tourists will watch Ganga Aarti in the evening. Cultural programs will be organized at Ravidas Ghat by the Department of Culture. Folk artists will perform Kathak dance. After night rest, on January 11, tourists will visit Chunar fort. After enjoying Kajri, leave for Mirzapur. After visiting Ghanta Ghar, you will reach back to Ravidas Ghat in the evening. On January 12, a group of tourists will go to Sarnath. In the evening, the Prayagraj unit of the Ministry of Culture will participate in a cultural festival at Kashi Vishwanath Dham.

The tourists included 32 tourists and a German guide.
There are 32 Swiss guests and a German guide among the tourists coming to Varanasi. Swiss tourists understand German, so German-speaking guides are included in the tour. Online booking of cruise has started. According to officials, booking can be done by visiting Antara Cruise’s website.
