The world’s longest, grand and luxurious Ganga Vilas Cruise has reached Varanasi on Tuesday. Ganga Vilas has been stopped in front of Rauna village, about eight kilometers before Rajghat. The cruise will reach Ravidas Ghat on the night of January 12. From here on January 13, PM Modi will virtually flag it off and leave for Dibrugarh.
CM Yogi’s tweet on Wednesday has confirmed this information. Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath tweeted on Wednesday and wrote- Honorable Prime Minister Mr. @narendramodi Ji will flag off the world’s longest river cruise ‘Ganga Vilas’ on January 13. Symbolizing the speed, power and strength of ‘New India’, this river cruise-journey will add new chapters of integration in ‘Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat’.

Along with the tweet, CM Yogi has also shared a video showing the importance of Varanasi and grandeur of Ganga Vilas. Along with this, PM Modi’s message is also shown in the video.

33 Swiss tourists reached Kashi yesterday
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off MV Ganga Vilas Cruise to Dibrugarh on 13 January. A batch of 33 Swiss tourists going to Dibrugarh from this cruise reached Varanasi on 10th January. Here the tourists were welcomed with the tune of shehnai and folk dance. From Babatpur, they were taken to the port at Ramnagar in a luxury vehicle.
Tourists visited Ramnagar Fort. After this saw Ganga Aarti while boating. After watching the aarti came back on the cruise. Today i.e. on January 11, we will go to visit Chunar Fort. From here we will go to Ghantaghar located in Mirzapur. On January 12, cultural programs will be organized for these tourists at Ravidas Ghat. According to Regional Tourism Officer Kirtiman Srivastava, the group of tourists includes 32 tourists and a German guide.
