The face of Tajnagari will change for the guests coming from 20 countries around the world including America, China, Russia and India. From roads to railings, pavements will be repaired. From intersections to flyovers will be seen in a new look. This work is to be completed by January 26. For this, District Magistrate Navneet Singh Chahal has issued guidelines to more than 10 departments on Tuesday.

District Magistrate Navneet Singh Chahal reviewed the preparations for the G-20 at the camp office. He told that the delegation of G-20 countries will come to Agra on 9 and 10 February. Which will have more than 200 members. Before his arrival, the works of Municipal Corporation, PWD, ADA, Tourism and other related departments have been fixed for the beautification of the city.

The departments made a presentation on the projector regarding the arrangements for the stay of the guests, visit to the monuments and other facilities. The DM has instructed all the departments to complete the tender process and the work within the stipulated time limit. Municipal Corporation has been entrusted with the responsibility of removing encroachments from the roads, installation of signages, beautification of roads.

Painting will be done on the pillar of Metro

The appearance of the metro pillar under construction on Fatehabad Road will also change. There will be dyeing and painting on the pillars. The Municipal Corporation will also promote the G-20 conference. The administration will handle the arrangements for the protocol. At the same time, Metro and PWD will work in coordination for the repair of Fatehabad Road. The tourism and archeology department will make arrangements for the monuments. DM has asked all the departments to complete the work in writing.

He said that all the departments should work in coordination. So that through the international delegation, a good message goes around the world. Agra’s image should be better. ADM City Anjani Kumar Singh, ADM Protocol Himanshu Gautam, Municipal Commissioner Nikhil Tikaram Phunde, Agra Development Authority Vice President Chariswal Goud etc. officers of various departments were present in the meeting.
