In view of the preparations for the G-20, an exercise has been started by the Municipal Corporation to make the city attractive and beautiful. According to Municipal Commissioner Pranay Singh, six entry gates will be made to welcome those coming to the Municipal Corporation limits. Till now the concerned road departments have been welcoming those entering the district limits.
Entry gates will be made on the routes coming from Prayagraj, Chandauli, Jaunpur, Chandauli, Azamgarh, Mirzapur to Varanasi Municipal Corporation limits. Apart from this, gates will be made to welcome the guests at some intersections within the city. Survey is going on for this. Along with this, the appearance of many areas of the city will be changed through painting. Just as houses and shops have been painted in one color in Godaulia, similarly the houses on VIP Marg will also be painted. Lights will be installed on poles and pillars. Saplings will be planted at many places. For this, the Additional Municipal Commissioner has been made the nodal officer.
Action plan to beautify the city will be made by December 29
Nodal Officer and Additional Municipal Commissioner Rajeev Kumar Rai told that by December 29 its complete action plan will be prepared. Our entire focus is on making the city beautiful. Every possible effort will be made in this direction.
