Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented the country’s general budget on Wednesday. In this budget, an attempt has been made to take special care of women, youth and senior citizens. Farmers had high hopes from this budget of the Modi government. He was hopeful that not only the amount of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi would be increased in the budget, but there would also be a provision to give interest free loan on Kisan Credit Card. Most of the farmers have termed the budget as disappointing.
