In Meerut, accused Aftab resident of Ahmednagar, Lisadigate, who runs fake notes of two thousand rupees in the market, is said to have a connection with Pakistan. During interrogation, it was told that Aftab, his brother Mahtab, father Dilshad drive trucks till Nepal. Aftab kept misleading the police station for several hours. NIA, ATS, IB and LIU investigated thoroughly. In which it was found that Aftab’s brother-in-law Shahid is a resident of Shamli’s Kairana, from whom he had brought fake notes. Now the police and security agencies have camped in Kairana.
Aftab was buying goods by taking fake notes of two thousand rupees at shops in and around Ghantaghar. He had run seven notes in the market, while three were found in his pocket. Aftab was caught by the shopkeepers and handed over to the Dehligate police station on Sunday. Security agencies were alerted on Monday on the information of receiving fake notes. Members of other security team including NIA-ATS, IB reached Dehligate police station and interrogated Aftab. In which the connection of fake note currency was linked to Pakistan. Aftab used to bring this note from Kairana from his brother-in-law Shahid. Security agencies became alert as soon as Kairana’s name surfaced.

Inspector Dehligate Rishipal Singh told that what is Aftab’s relation with Pakistan, the police team is probing it thoroughly. The case of fake currency is very serious, in view of this, the police will interrogate the accused Aftab on remand.
