The youth studying in Government Industrial Training Institutes of Gorakhpur district will now be made job ready along with making them skilled according to the demands of the new age industry. Under this, new courses like robotics, advanced automobile, 3D printing, electric vehicle, advanced manufacturing will be conducted by Tata Technology.
For this, an agreement has been signed recently at the state level between Tata Technology Limited and Vocational Education and Skill Development. In the first phase, new courses will be conducted in Government ITI Chargawan and Government ITI Mahila World Bank. Trainees will be admitted on 200-200 seats in both the institutes.
Eight State Industrial Training Institutes have been established within the district to make the youth technically proficient. Where other important trades like Electrician, Fitter, Motor Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Mechanic Tractor, Draftsman Civil, Draftsman Civil, Turner, Sewing and Fashion Technology, Dress Making are taught. Thousands of youth’s skills are being improved.
