All-round efforts needed: Gadkari

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has expressed the hope that all-round efforts will be made to persuade people to vote in favor of the Uniform Civil Code. ‘Ekhada Purush koi streeni mar karit asel, tar te natural aahe; But if any four marriages are done, it is unnatural. Because of this only progressive and progressive Muslims stay away from this. Society has changed its status. This law is not against any religion or sect. All of you came together and brought development of the country,’ Gadkari said. ‘Is there equal rights for women of Hindu, Muslim or Sikh religion? Which Muslim countries in the world have both the laws? If the states oppose any decision of the Centre, the opposite message will be sent. That’s why all the states and parties should come together and take a decision in this regard,’ Gadkari said.
