In the Babita murder case, the police have arrested both the accused Ashyant and Jeetu after a police encounter. Jeetu has been shot in the encounter and is admitted to the district hospital. Apart from this, many others including Babita’s sister-in-law and brother-in-law Suresh and Pooja have been taken into custody by the police. The story of superstition behind the murder is coming to the fore.

On January 25, 2023, Ramesh’s wife Babita, resident of Maukhas village of Mundali police station area, was stabbed to death. The police investigated thoroughly. In which the suspicion of killing brother-in-law and sister-in-law was expressed.

The main accused in the murder was Devrani’s brother Jeetu. After getting information about this, a team of SOG and surveillance was engaged with the police station. On the information of the informer, the police laid siege and tried to nab the accused.

The police team was also under siege. Then the accused opened fire, in retaliatory action Jeetu was injured by the police bullet. Jeetu’s partner Ashyant was also caught by the police. The interrogation of both the accused is going on.
