Encounter between police and miscreant

Devgaon Kotwali and Bardah police station in Azamgarh had an encounter with an inter-state miscreant carrying a reward of 25 thousand near Gangapur village on Sunday morning. The miscreant was shot in the leg in the incident. Police arrested the injured miscreant and admitted him to the district hospital for treatment.
On Friday, Inspector-in-charge Bardah Sanjay Singh was present in Dularganj market along with our companions. Then in-charge Inspector Devgaon Gajanand Choubey informed that during checking a person was going towards Bhira from Lalganj town on a motorcycle without number plate, which we are chasing.
As soon as the information was received, Inspector-in-charge Sanjay Singh along with his companions proceeded towards Lalganj. A motor cycle was seen coming very fast near Gangapur village. In-charge Inspector Sanjay Singh made his vehicle parked diagonally on the road. Seeing the policemen in front of him, the motorcycle rider tried to run back, when the motorcycle became unbalanced and fell on the side of the road. The person sitting on it turned back and started running on foot. Inspector in-charge Devgaon who was following came in front of him. Seeing the police surrounded from both the sides, the miscreant policemen started running while firing. In retaliatory action by the police, the miscreant was shot in the leg and injured. The police arrested him and sent him to the hospital for treatment. The arrested miscreant was identified as Deepak Yadav’s son Naresh Yadav, resident of Malpar police station Mehnagar. In the search conducted by the police, 2500 cash, one country made pistol, one cartridge and five hollow .32 bore were recovered from him.
