Train operations have been affected due to fog. Many trains were late by hours on Wednesday. The Begumpura Express passing through the Cantt station was delayed by eight hours and 24 minutes. Similarly, Gorakhpur Weekly Express was delayed by 7:27 hours, Amritsar-Howrah Mail by 4:26 hours, Doon Express by 5:52 hours, Ganga Satluj Express by 3:11 hours, Gondia-Bharauni Express by 5:49 hours. Due to this, the passengers had to face problems.
Special train will be canceled from January 4 to 10
For doubling work between Sathiyanv-Azamgarh-Sarayrani-Fariha stations of Mau-Shahganj section, pre-non interlock work is to be done from December 28 to January 07. Non-interlock work will be done from 8 to 10 January. Due to this the operation of trains will be affected. According to Chief Public Relations Officer Pankaj Kumar Singh, six pairs of trains have been cancelled. Among these, the Azamgarh-Varanasi City unreserved special train will also remain canceled from January 04 to 10. Meanwhile, the route of many trains has been changed.
