A sensational incident has come to light from Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh. At some point last night, a sleeping mother and daughter were strangled to death in Kathout village of Muhammadabad Kotwali area. When the relatives came to know about the incident on Monday morning, the sensation spread. On information, the police took the dead bodies into custody and sent them for postmortem. The reason for the incident is not clear.

Here, mourning silence spread in the village due to the crying of the family members. Kaushalya Devi (70), a resident of Kathaut village, and married daughter Malti Devi (35) were alone at home on Sunday night. While son Gauri Rajbhar had gone to some other village on invitation.
Mother-daughter’s dead body was lying outside the room
When he reached home on Monday morning, he saw that the bodies of mother Kaushalya and sister Malti were lying outside the room. Both had marks of blood coming from their mouths. On raising the noise, the people around also reached the spot. The news of the murder of mother and daughter spread sensation in the village.
Here, as soon as the information was received, the police team also reached the spot. The bodies were taken and sent for post-mortem. After closely inspecting the spot, the relatives and villagers were also questioned. Varanasi range IG K. Satyanarayan and the district’s new SP Omvir Singh reached the spot and took stock.
He directed the police to unearth the double murder. Kotwal Ashok Mishra told that the reason for the murder is not clear. Soon the double murder case will be revealed. One person has been detained.
