Delhi: Cricketer and former captain of India’s cricket team Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MS Dhoni) has recently included TVS Ronin in his bike collection. Mahendra Singh Dhoni has taken delivery of the basic TVS Ronin. Earlier when the whole nation saw him with the Apache RR 310 and now with the Ronin.
Ronin is quite different in terms of features
The Ronin is powered by TVS’ new 225.9 cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 20.4 bhp at 7750 rpm and 19.93 Nm of torque at 3750 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox with a slipper-clutch, along with a starter for silent start and an oil cooler. The Ronin bike is quite different in terms of features. TVS Smart connect Bluetooth connectivity gives you navigation, voice assistance and call/message alerts. In addition, the Ronin gets a round LED headlamp with a T-shaped LED DRL.

ABS with top-spec variant only
The instrument cluster is a single-pod unit, and the single-piece black colored seat along with the all-black exhaust completes the look. However, the dual-channel ABS is only with the top-spec variant. Talking about TVS Ronin, there are three variants, Base, Base+ and Mid. The base+ price starts from Rs 1,56,000, while the mid variant is priced between Rs 1,68,750 to Rs 1,71,000. Going by the pictures, it looks like Mahendra Singh Dhoni has got the mid variant Ronin, which is the top-spec model.
