Rain has created havoc in Uttar Pradesh. It has been raining continuously in Etawah district since Wednesday night. Due to rain, 10 people have died due to wall collapse at five places in the district. After the accident, there is a ruckus among the family members. State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also expressed grief over the accidents caused by the rain.
The first accident happened in Chandrapura village of Civil Line area. Four children, who were sleeping with their grandmother under the tinshed, died due to the fall of a raw wall here. The four siblings are Sinku (10), Abhi (8), Sonu (7), Aarti (5). The parents of the four deceased children had died two years ago, the children were living with their grandmother. The second accident is of Kripalapur village of Thana Ikdil. Here too, the elderly couple died due to the fall of a raw wall.
One died due to wall collapse in Mahewa too
The third accident took place in Majra Bungalow of Andawa, Gram Panchayat of Maheva block area. 50-year-old Jabar Singh died after a mud wall collapsed here. CM Yogi has expressed grief over the deaths due to the fall of the wall. Condolences have been expressed to the bereaved families of the deceased. DM and senior police officers have been instructed to reach the spot immediately. Instructions have also been given to give relief amount of Rs 4 lakh each to the next of kin of the deceased.
Raw house collapsed due to rain, three died after being buried in rubble In Etawah district, three children were killed and two people were injured after being buried under the rubble when another house collapsed. Police rescued the people who were buried under the rubble. The doctors at the district hospital declared the three children brought dead. Treatment of the injured is going on. The dead included Alia (7), Arif (8) and Suhana (13 months).
