In Uttar Pradesh’s Deoria district, near Dhanauti Dhale on Salempur-Bhagalpur road, a teenager died when a bolero coming from Baraat lost control and overturned after colliding with the guardrail built on the side of Dhale. There 12 Baratis have been injured.

Kotwali police reached the information and sent the injured to Salempur CHC. From there everyone was referred to the district hospital. The condition of two of the injured is said to be serious.

From the house of Munna Raini, a resident of Bhagalpur village of Mail police station area, the procession went to Navalpur of Salempur Kotwali on Friday. The people who had gone to the baraat were coming back late at night. Meanwhile, the Bolero overturned in the pit after hitting a pillar on the Dhanoti Dhale. Due to this there was hue and cry among the Bolero riders.

When the people around reached the spot after hearing the loud noise, the Bolero took out the injured and informed the police. From there the injured were sent to the hospital. In CHC Salempur, the doctor declared Inshad, 12 years old son Mir Hasan resident of Bhagalpur dead. While Rashid 11 son Riyasat, driver Daroga Prasad village Tengunia district Ballia, Tausif 12 years, Sheraj Akhtar, Shivam Yadav, Meraj 14 years, Ali Khan 18 years are injured. All are being treated at the district hospital. The condition of Rashid and Daroga is said to be serious. The people of the village are inconsolable after the accident.
