Dengue deaths are not stopping in Lucknow city. A young man admitted to a private hospital died of dengue late on Friday night. This is the eighth death due to dengue in the district. This has created panic in the department. The CMO says that the death audit of the patient’s death will be done.
Faheem Qureshi (30), a resident of Mohanlalganj, was suffering from fever for about a week and a half. He was undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital. On November 16, when the condition worsened, the relatives admitted him to Nova Hospital in Gomtinagar. The platelets of the patient were about 28 thousand left.

Doctor Shashank Dixit of the hospital told that the patient was suffering from multiple bleeding. The patient was placed on ventilator support. He died late on Saturday night. Even after the eighth death, the officers of the department are sitting on their hands. At the same time, the Health Department is engaged in hiding the figures of death. So far only three deaths are being claimed due to dengue in the records of the department.
