Gyanvapi Mosque Case Latest Update: In Varanasi’s Gyanvapi Shringar Gauri trial, one of the nearly 20 applications that came to the party to be a party, was heard in the district judge’s court after 2 o’clock in the caveat case. The court has given the date of 29 September for the next hearing. On September 12, 2022, in the hearing held in the court of District Judge Dr AK Vishvesh, the District Judge dismissed the objections from the Anjuman Intejamiya Masajid Committee and ordered that the Shringar Gauri case was maintainable, along with hearing. The date was fixed on 22 September.

Against the order of the District Judge’s court, the Masjid Committee had said to file a revision petition in the High Court. In view of the revision petition of the Masajid Committee, a caveat has also been filed in the High Court on behalf of the women of the Hindu side who made the case so that the court must hear the side of the women before giving any order. Today, in the same case, the hearing was held in the court of District Judge Dr AK Vishvesh. After today’s hearing, the court has given the date of 29 September for the next hearing.

On the Gyanvapi case, the Hindu side’s lawyer Vishnu Shankar Jain said that the court has issued notice on our application for carbon dating and has sought objection from the Muslim side. The settlement will take place on 29 September. The court rejected the time of 8 weeks (demanded by the mosque committee to prepare for the next hearing). He further said, ‘We are demanding carbon dating. Muslim side says it is a fountain, we say it is Shivling. An independent body will have to investigate and find out. We are filing an application seeking carbon dating.
