Delhi Police arrested the infamous gangster of Punjab from Bareilly in UP, there are links with Khalistani terrorist A to Z Counsel

The Special Cell of Delhi Police has arrested the associate of gangster turned terrorist Rinda from Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh. The accused cover Randeep Singh aka SK Kharoud is a category ‘A’ criminal of Punjab and was wanted for more than two years.

Giving information about this on Thursday, officials said that the cover hailing from Punjab is a close associate of ISI-backed Khalistani terrorist Harvinder Singh alias Rinda.

The Special Cell had recently resolved the case of firing in broad daylight at the Nalagarh Court premises in Himachal Pradesh on August 29. The four attackers were arrested in this case along with their handler-accomplice, financier and arms supplier. Gagandeep was also one of the accused arrested in that operation. Police officials said that his arrest helped the police reach the cover, Randeep Singh.

Cover Randeep was arrested on September 12

Police said that after preliminary technical leads, efforts were made to trace a suspect who was in contact with criminals and terrorists from across the border. The suspect’s address was of Khai Khera village in Bareilly. Cover Randeep Singh, a close associate of Harvinder Singh’s criminal-terrorist nexus, was arrested on September 12, police said. Cover Randeep Singh was earlier involved in more than eight criminal cases.

Police said five state-of-the-art semi-automatic pistols, ammunition, cell phones and several SIM cards were recovered from him, including a Chinese PX-9.

While in jail, he came in contact with Harvinder Singh and got attached to him. Police said that along with Harvinder Singh, covert Randeep Singh was involved in five criminal cases, one of them being the assault on the then president of the Students’ Union of India (Akali) Manpreet Singh Aulakh at Chandigarh University in 2016 with a weapon.

Has been involved in many serious crimes

He said the cover was also linked to gangster Dilpreet Singh Dahan, a close associate of Randeep Singh, Harvinder Singh and has been a co-accused with him in several other crimes. Randeep Singh took shelter in Bareilly after killing Tara Dutt, an elected sarpanch resident of Patiala and an aide of jailed gangster Virendra alias Binder Gurjar.

Officials said that once again he joined Harvinder Singh in Bareilly and was being instigated to work for the liberation of the Sikh community and hoard arms and ammunition.

Police said that apart from Harvinder Singh, he was also linked with Virendra Pratap alias Kala Ranja – deported from Thailand in 2022 – and Satendrajit Singh alias Goldie Brar of Lawrence Bishnoi Syndicate. Ranja, before being exiled to India, was providing cover to Randeep Singh. Police said that Brar Cover was transporting a consignment of weapons for the safe custody and use of Randeep Singh on behalf of Harvinder Singh.
