Police identified the dead body. The dead body found in Vihirit would have been of 55-year-old Shivnarayan Kushwaha. Shivnarayan’s dead body would have been thrown into the Anthrunat Gundalan, Dagd Damhun Vihirit. Burial of dead body in water and murder case would have been attempted by new accused. The plan of the accused failed only after damming the dead body.

After seeing the dead body floating in the water, the village police was called. The police started the post-mortem investigation of the dead body. Shivnarayanal was addicted to alcohol.
