The arrest of the main accused in the rape case of a differently-abled teenager in a village under the Sarayinayat police station area has become a challenge for the police. When the police reached his house on Thursday to arrest the main accused, it came to know that he had fled to the Gulf country. In such a situation, his arrest has now become a big challenge for the police. Efforts are on to arrest the second accused. The investigation report has been sent to the CMO against the hospital operator of Jhunsi, accused of abortion of the teenager.
A 14-year-old disabled teenager from a village under Saraiinayat police station area was coerced and raped by a young man about four months ago. After this, taking advantage of the girl’s disability, she was raped several times. In the meantime, when the girl became pregnant, it is alleged that on November 1, the brother of the accused youth took the girl to Ashirwad Hospital located in Chibaiyan village of Jhunsi and together with the doctor forced the abortion of the girl.
When the girl’s health deteriorated on Wednesday morning, the whole matter came to light. The relatives gave a complaint to the police against the main accused Naseem, his brother Anwar and the operator of Aashiwad Hospital. The police registered a case against the three for rape, forcible abortion and under the POCSO Act. On Thursday, when the Sarainayat police reached his house to arrest the main accused, it was found that he had fled to the Gulf country.
SO Arvind Kumar Rai told that the main accused is in the country, raids are being conducted in search of the second accused, his brother Anwar. The report has been sent to the CMO for investigation against Dr. Abhimanyu, the operator of Ashirwad Hospital located in Chibaiyan village of Jhunsi, accused of abortion. Action will also be taken against the hospital operator after the report is received.
