Additional Sessions Judge Rahul Anand has sentenced accused Durgavati, a resident of village Bharauli of Barhalganj police station area, to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 30,000 after being found guilty of kidnapping and murder and hiding the dead body.
On behalf of the prosecution, Assistant District Government Advocate Ravindra Singh and Ramesh Singh said that Vadini Hema is a resident of village Bharauli under Barhalganj police station area. Hema’s son Bholu alias Darpan went to the accused Durgavati’s house on September 21, 2002 to see off the girl. Because of which Bholu did not know anything.
Hema informed about this in Barhalganj police station. On 25 September 2002, a body was found in Uruva area. On September 26, 2002, the dead body was identified by the family members as Bholu alias Darpan in the post-mortem house. Explanation It is learned that Durgavati has killed Bholu.
