Committee of Ministers for 'Border Peace'; Break for both the states in the meeting of Amit Shah

M. Ta. Special Representative, New Delhi: The decision to set up a committee of three ministers each from both the states was taken on Wednesday in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, in the meeting of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai to resolve the issue of Marathi speaking people living in the Maharashtra-Karnataka border region and establish peace in the border region. Or wait for the conclusion of the committee and the conclusion of the Supreme Court, as well as for the interest of both the states, or to make the case a state issue, such appeals were made to the opposing parties in both the states by Amit Shah.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and Home Minister Arga Gyanendra discussed Baswoon border issue face-to-face on the initiative of the Modi government. After the completion of the work of the Parliament, the meeting lasted for half an hour in the building of the library of the Parliament House. The meeting was held in a very good atmosphere with the presence of officials from both the parties. Both the Chief Ministers took a positive role. The crackdown on marginalism cannot be done on the democratic road, but it can be done through an eventful way, it was agreed upon. Union Home Minister or Nityane Shah appealed to the opposition parties for cooperation. Whatever may be the political protest, for the interest of both the states as well as for the benefit of other languages on the borders of both the states, the matter should be made a political issue. ‘Congress, Nationalist Congress and Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena in both the states will co-operate so that the issue is not given a political colour’, expressed the expectation of Shah.

Taking serious note of the matter, the Chief Ministers of both the states thanked Chief Minister Shinde and Amit Shah for intervening in the Center for discussion. ‘Centre or Pudhakara will stop causing panic to the citizens and peace will be established. Our position in the Supreme Court should be relieved of the honor of Marathi language, no injustice should be done to Marathi people and they should not face any kind of trouble due to schools and Marathi language schools’, this demand was made in the meeting.

‘Central role should be neutral’

For the first time the central government intervened and discussed the matter together with both the states. Both the states did not move away from their position in the meeting. We are fighting for the position taken by the Supreme Court. But until the Supreme Court comes out, the beds to be filled on Marathi citizens, the subject of Marathi, the closure of Marathi schools, a committee of three ministers each will be opened and the central government will help in case of need. The role of the central government should be neutral in the Supreme Court on the Maharashtra-Karnataka border dispute, demanded Chief Minister Shinde. Center’s role on this is cooperative and not in favor of any state, Amit Shah has accepted that Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis said.

‘Nobody celebrated Karnataka because of it’

‘Our two ministers would have gone to Karnataka, Chief Minister Shinde expressed displeasure in the letter sent by Karnataka. On that we have not persuaded anyone to go here and there. Or knowing that law and order situation would be created by capitalizing on the meeting of ministers, we would have sent letters to you. I will invite ministers from Maharashtra in future’, Bommai clarified.

This decision is unanimous…

– Until the boundary question is settled by the Supreme Court, no state will make claims and demands on each other.

Three ministers each from both the states will sit together and discuss the problems in detail.

– The law and order situation in both the states should be fine and non-speaking citizens, migrants and businessmen should not face any kind of trouble, a vacant committee headed by a senior IPS officer

make twittercade bot

‘Or Twitter played a big role in the entire matter, created in the name of top leaders’, said Amit Shah. ‘Or by spreading awards for the legislation of the leaders from the Twitter handle, the sentiments of the people of both the sides were incited and a bitter incident took place. Wherever fake Twitter cases have come to light, those who have registered crimes will be exposed to the public’, said Shah.
