Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the youth of UP will no longer go outside, but will get employment in their own villages. The youth here have immense talent. On the strength of their talent and energy, we will take forward the possibilities. Right now investment proposals worth more than Rs 33 lakh 52 thousand crore have come through the Global Investors Summit (UPGIS). This is the first time when investment will be made in all the 75 districts of UP, not in any one district. CM Yogi kept his words in the private channel conclave organized on Wednesday.
The CM said that this is a glimpse of the potential of UP. Earlier also this power was there. In 1947, the per capita income of UP was better than the national average, but division was done on the basis of casteism and religion. Corruption was spread in the name of caste and family. By 2016-17, due to these people, the per capita income of UP has come down to one-third of the national average. We grew rapidly and doubled our income and GDP every year in 6 years. It will be ahead of the national average in the next five years.
China’s investment will come in India and UP
CM said that why will we send the youth to China, China’s investment will come to India and UP. Will make UP the growth engine of India’s development. The progress of six years has moved in a meaningful direction. We have agreed to develop some institutes of vocational education with the Tatas. In the coming times very good centers of world class skill development are going to be built in UP. Tata wants to work together with us in this.

Investment proposals received in all 75 districts
CM said that the specialty of Nivesh Mahakumbh is that investment proposals worth more than 33 lakh 52 thousand crore have been received. Proposals of up to 10 lakh crores were received by Eastern UP, proposals of 4.29 lakh crores were received by Bundelkhand. Before 2017, Moradabad is exporting 2.5 thousand and now 15 thousand crores
CM said that we also have the largest base of MSMEs. We have already done our homework to encourage traditional enterprise through ODOP. Before 2017, all these were dying. Somehow two-two and a half thousand crore exports were being done in Moradabad. When we added brass items to ODOP. Separately supplying electricity from coal-kerosene, Moradabad alone is exporting Rs 15,000 crore. Bhadohi’s carpet had died. Handloom-powerloom artisans were roaming like unemployed. People used to say that there is no technology, nor can we compete in the international market. We also gave technology design, market and export subsidies. Today 6 thousand crores are being exported from there. One product from each district was promoted. Through this, 1.61 crore youth were linked with employment.
UP’s unemployment rate is around 3 percent
The CM said that we have linked 60 lakh entrepreneurs directly to the banks through PM Mudra Yojana and CM Yuva Swarozgar Yojana. If the money belongs to UP, give it to the entrepreneurs here. When CMI presents the report, it is known that before 2017 the unemployment rate was 19 per cent, today it has come down to about 3 per cent. Every section of UP will get benefited.
Tragic incident in Kanpur Dehat, orders for magisterial inquiry
CM said that an incident like Kanpur Dehat is sad. Our SIT is working. A magisterial inquiry has been ordered. This is a sensitive matter, when the report comes, we will convert milk into water.
