Betul: A 5-year-old boy fell into a 55-feet deep borewell in Mandavi village of Betul district of Madhya Pradesh. Rescue operation is going on. DM S Jaiswal said that a 5-year-old child named Tanmay Sahu fell into a borewell in Betul’s Mandvi village. Rescue operation is going on. SDRF, Home Guard, Police teams are on the spot. This may take another 2-3 hours. The child is not responding, may have fainted. Our teams are working.

According to information, a 5-year-old child fell into a borewell while playing on Tuesday evening. This bollwell is about 400 feet deep. The child is trapped in a 55 feet deep borewell. As soon as the news of this incident was received, the administration and the police team immediately reached the spot.
SDRF teams have been called from Bhopal and Hoshangabad for rescue operation of the child. Oxygen is being supplied to the baby. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is constantly monitoring Tanmay’s rescue operation. Every effort is being made to get the child out safely as soon as possible.
