Governor Anandiben Patel reached the Circuit House in Meerut at around 11.15 pm on Wednesday night. The campus is also fully decked up for the 34th convocation ceremony of Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU). Toppers are excited to get gold medal. On Thursday, Chancellor Anandiben Patel will give gold medals to the students in a grand ceremony organized at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Auditorium. Padma Shri Dr. JK Bajaj, President of ICSSR New Delhi will be the chief guest at the function. For the year 2022, this time 131193 students will get degrees.

Medical and PhD degree holders have been asked to reach the campus at 8 am on Thursday to collect their degrees. All the title holders and toppers have to take place on the pre-decided seats in the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Auditorium by 9.15 am. The convocation ceremony will begin at 11 am. No one will be allowed entry without a pass. Toppers will bring their verification form along with them. The convocation ceremony will last for two and a quarter hours, in the meantime no one will be allowed to go out. Separate parking has been made for vehicles.

131193 students will get degree
195 students will receive 228 gold medal-specific merit certificates at the convocation. 131193 students of UG-PG will get degrees. Of these, the number of boys is 43534 (33 per cent) and the number of girls is 87659 (68.82 per cent). 234 students will get PhD degree. One Chancellor Gold Medal, one President Shankar Dayal Sharma Gold Medal, two Chaudhary Charan Singh Smriti Pratibha Puraskar, 59 Sponsored Gold Medals, 165 Vice Chancellor Gold Medals will be given. Apart from these, sponsored medals for the year 2021 will also be given. All these medals were stamped in the working council meeting on Wednesday. The PhD degrees of 44 students were also stamped.

University’s history will be seen on the screen

The convocation ceremony has been made more grand this time. The history of CCSU will be shown on screen through a documentary. In this, the journey of the university has been described. This time a photo gallery will be installed at the entrance of the auditorium. Explaining the importance of water, this time Jal Bharo program will be organized. The Chancellor will give kits to 25 children of Kasturba Gandhi Vidyalaya in the programme.

Broadcast will be done by installing screen in Brihaspati Bhavan
Toppers can bring their family members along with them. If the number is more, arrangements have been made for the relatives to sit in Brihaspati Bhawan as well. Live telecast of the convocation ceremony will be done by installing a screen here.

day long preparations
Preparations went on throughout the day on Wednesday for the convocation ceremony. Vice Chancellor Prof. Sangeeta Shukla rehearsed with the officials and teachers. Police-administrative officials held a meeting in the evening in the campus. After the convocation, the Chancellor will meet 20 to 25 people at the guest house, whose list has been handed over to the police-administrative officials. DM Deepak Meena held a meeting with the officials at night.

Be the best, contribute in the interest of the society – Prof. Sangeeta Shukla

The students who are passing out from CCSU with degrees. He may go to any field, but whatever initiation he has received from the gurus here, he should use it for the benefit of the society and the country. Vice-Chancellor Prof. said this on Wednesday before the 34th convocation ceremony of CCSU. Sangeeta Shukla said.

The Vice-Chancellor said that it is a matter of great pride that this time 75 percent of the gold medals are in the names of daughters. The degree does not mean moving forward only in the field of education. Become the best by working hard and definitely contribute something in the interest of the society and the country. He said that there is a message for those students who have not got gold medals, that they will work hard, there will be many ways to get gold medals.

Pro. Sangeeta Shukla said that the students who are taking away degrees must do something for their university in future. Consider the university as your home and contribute in one way or the other.
