Shahuji Maharaj, a student in the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court, Vice Chancellor of Kanpur University, Prof. The state government’s decision to hand over the investigation against Vinay Pathak to the CBI has been challenged. This challenge has been given by David Mario Dennis, who has filed a case of extortion and corruption against Pathak and his associate at the Indiranagar police station.

On the petition, a division bench of Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyay and Justice Narendra Kumar Johri has asked the CBI and the Central Government to submit the basis of this action by the next date, January 31. The CBI inquiry order was challenged by the plaintiff in the High Court on January 9 as well, but the petition was withdrawn with permission to file the petition again due to lack of investigation notification.

The Plaintiff has told the Court that the STF had almost completed the investigation and was about to file the charge sheet, but by suddenly handing over the investigation to the CBI, efforts are being made to help the accused in the case.
