Congress party president Mallikarjun Kharge and several of its MPs will be unable to attend the President’s address on the first day of the budget session due to delay in flights from Srinagar.
Due to inclement weather in Srinagar, I’ve been stranded at the airport in Srinagar. I may fail to join the Presidential address in Parliament today. Party general secretary Jairam Ramesh gave the information by tweeting. He said that due to bad weather, flights from Srinagar airport are getting delayed. Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Kharge ji and many other Congress MPs will not be able to be present in the President’s address to be held in the meeting of both the Houses.
