Jammu : By foiling an infiltration bid from Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, two armed terrorists were thrashed by the army personnel, the spokesperson of the Protection Force gave this information on Sunday.

Rajouri attack death toll seven

Radar equipped drone to find seamevar bhuyar

New Delhi/Jammu: Border Security Force (BSF) has deployed radar-equipped drones for the first time in the Indo-Pak International Border Jammu region to search for explosives used by terrorists to infiltrate, officials said. Terrorists intend to infiltrate the territory of India and attack Jammu-Kashmir or any other part of the country, for this they have used indigenously made or technical devices as part of the practice of smoke-screening to get protection. The same fumes are used for smuggling of acidic substances, weapons and narcotics. In the last three years, BSF has conducted research of at least five areas of about 192 km in Jammu. More drones equipped with radar have been deployed in the Jammu region, said a senior BSF officer.
