A 22-year-old woman living in her maternal home in Arya Nagar Colony of Ghantaghar Kotwali area of Ghaziabad was stabbed to death by her husband. The accused absconded after the murder. The murderer husband had come to his in-laws house to talk to his wife. The forensic team of the police has taken samples from the spot. The police is looking for the accused husband.
According to the police, 22-year-old Vanshika, a resident of Old Arya Nagar, was married to Naresh, a resident of Vijayanagar police station, about two years ago. There was a dispute between husband and wife for a long time. Vanshika was living in her maternal home for about six months. Naresh reached his in-laws house on Friday evening and asked his wife Vanshika to accompany him.
Vanshika refuses to go along. Both talked for a long time. After this, Naresh took Vanshika to the room on the upper floor on the pretext of talking alone. Police say that Naresh took Vanshika to the room and locked it from inside. After this, he was stabbed with a knife on his stomach, throat and face and killed.
Naresh fled from the spot. For a long time, the family members went upstairs and looked at Vanshika, but seeing her in a bloody condition, they lost their senses. Vanshika’s brother-in-law Vipin and other relatives took her to the hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead.
