The bride eloped with her lover a day before the wedding in Uttar Pradesh’s Bijnor. On coming to know about the absconding of the bride, the relatives of the groom, who were preparing to bring the wedding procession, were left in a quandary. All the preparations for the wedding of the bride and bridegroom were left in abeyance.

The procession of two daughters of a village resident of the police station area was to come on Tuesday. He had made complete preparations for the marriage and food etc. was also prepared for both the processions. Late night around 11 o’clock, his younger daughter eloped with her lover from the village itself. When the bride’s absconding was found out, there was a stir among the family members.
