Mumbai Ekta Kapoor has signed television actress Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia for her next film. Nimrit is currently a contestant of the reality show ‘Bigg Boss 16’. Nimrit has been signed for the sequel of Ekta Kapoor’s 2010 film Love Sex Aur Dhokha.
Ekta and Dibakar Banerjee came to the Bigg Boss house for the promotion of their upcoming film ‘LSD 2’. In the show, he revealed that ‘LSD 2’ is based on reality shows like Bigg Boss. Nimrit’s audition was praised by Ekta Kapoor and Dibakar Banerjee, who selected her for a role in ‘LSD 2’.

In the ‘Bigg Boss 16’ house, Ekta Kapoor gave a portion of her show Naagin to the contestants of the Bigg Boss house to recreate. Contestants had to go through a kind of audition for the film ‘LSD 2’. As a result, Nimrit and Shiva copied a scene from ‘Naagin 1’, in which Nimrit played the role of a naagin and Shiva played the role of a mongoose.
Nimrit’s audition was liked by Ekta Kapoor and Dibakar Banerjee, who selected her for a role in ‘LSD 2’. Love Sex Aur Dhoka is a 2010 anthology drama film directed by Dibakar Banerjee and written by Banerjee and Kanu Behl. It tells three separate but interlinked stories of an honor killing, an MMS scandal and a sting operation.
Ekta then revealed that she will soon return to the Bigg Boss house and cast another contestant but did not reveal who it would be. She had said, ‘Hopefully going to announce an exciting film in Bigg Boss, let’s see who we choose there this time.’ Ekta did not reveal any more about it except that it is a film. Last year in 2022, Ekta had signed last season’s winner Tejashwi Prakash for Naagin during the house visit.
