The doctors (MBBS interns) of the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) hospital had made WhatsApp a weapon. Whenever the doctors were on duty in the ward, trauma center and OPD, they used to inform the fake interns through WhatsApp messages. Used to tell that duty has to be done for six hours. Fake WhatsApp chat of female doctor with intern Preeti Chauhan found. It has been preserved by the Proctorial Board.
The lady doctor wrote that Preeti (fake intern) told you Mohit (fake intern) that I have to do ortho posting till 14-18? On this, Preeti wrote that yes ma’am. Brother just told us… So from what time till what time will the time be. On this the lady doctor wrote that there will be duty from 9 am to 3 pm. Lunch break will also be available in between.

Doctors should not get trapped and avoid fraud, so kept distance from fake interns. Talked on WhatsApp call only and kept giving directions. Not only this, daily wages were also not paid in cash. Money was sent directly to the bank account of the fake intern through the UPI app. This process was going on for a long time.
