The boat race competition (17-20) will be played on knock out basis till January. A safe track of three kilometers has been made between Dashashwamedh to Rajghat for the competition. A total of 12 teams have registered with the tourism department for the competition. According to the officials of the tourism department, such competitions are being organized to promote river tourism.

After Varanasi, this exhibition will also be displayed in cities located on the banks of river Ganges.
