There was a lot of uproar in Ballia city of UP after the death of a youth after being hit by a truck last night. Angry people blocked the road near the railway station. Many trucks were pelted with stones and their glasses were broken. The police who reached the spot made a lot of efforts to pacify. Even after this people did not listen to the police.

Seeing the uproar, the police dispersed the crowd with lathis. The dead body was taken into custody and sent for postmortem. Only then the traffic could be restored. Akash Kumar (24), a resident of Ambedkar Nagar Jagdishpur of Kotwali area, had come to the city late on Saturday night for some work. Meanwhile, trucks were leaving the city after no entry was opened.

Akash got hit by a truck. He died on the spot. As soon as the news of this painful accident reached Ambedkar Nagar locality, people got angry. Seeing the dead body of Akash in front of the railway station, people blocked the road and started shouting slogans against the police.
