On Thursday, 120 crocodile babies were released in Gerua river of Katarniaghat Wildlife Division of Bahraich. These were brought from the Kukrail Gharial Kendra in Lucknow.
Forest Officer Vijay Kumar Mishra left the children of alligators brought from Kukrail with his own hands in the Gerua river.
DFO Akash Deep Badhawan said that the Gerua river of Katarniyaghat is famous all over the country for its conservation. 120 children of the gharial were released safely in the Gerua river in the presence of the ranger.
