The case of rape of a teenager has come to light in Azamgarh’s Jiyanpur Kotwali area. Police is interrogating the accused youth in custody. The statement of the girl was also recorded at the police station.
A 17-year-old girl resident of Jiyanpur Kotwali area had gone for defecation at 4 am on Monday morning. When she did not return home for a long time, the relatives started searching for her. Around seven o’clock, the girl was found unconscious on the terrace of Rajnath, a resident of the village. His clothes were also in disarray. He had an injury on his head. The family took him to the doctor for immediate treatment. On regaining consciousness, the family took her to Jiyanpur Kotwali, where the family lodged a complaint alleging rape with the girl. In which Rajnath has been nominated. On the basis of Tahrir, the police is interrogating Rajnath in custody. The statement of the girl was also recorded at the police station. SO Yadvendra Pandey told that the girl will be sent to the hospital for medical examination. After this, further action will be taken after registering the case.
