Azamgarh accident: Cyclist dies after being hit by a car

A speeding car rammed a cyclist near Bowapar village of Bardah police station area. In this accident, the cyclist died on the spot. This time the car collided with another car parked on the roadside. Due to which the people in the car also got minor injuries. The family members who reached the information blocked the spot. The police pacified the people after a lot of persuasion and sent the dead body for postmortem.
Akhilesh (35) son Somnath, a resident of Bela Gopinathpur village, went to the market on Wednesday to buy chicken. Around two and a half o’clock he was returning home after buying a chicken and hanging it on his bicycle. He had just turned towards the house from the cut near Bowapar village when a speeding car hit him. After this the car went uncontrolled and collided with another car parked outside Rajesh Vishwakarma’s house.
In this accident, while Akhilesh, who was riding a bicycle, died on the spot, a woman and a man, along with two children in the car that caused the accident, were also slightly injured. As soon as the incident was informed, the relatives of the deceased reached the spot and blocked the road.
On information about the accident and jam, apart from Bardah police station, Devgaon Kotwali, Gambhirpur police station along with CO Lalganj Manoj Raghuvanshi reached the spot. The family members were somehow pacified by persuasion and the dead body was sent for postmortem. The deceased was the father of four daughters. The incident has created chaos among the family members.
