The proposed meeting of Wrestling Federation of India today in Ayodhya got canceled suddenly. No one is ready to say anything about this. Jai Prakash Chowdhary, the Delhi President of Wrestling Federation of India, who came to attend the meeting after much coaxing, said that the order has come from above. After this the meeting and wrestling competition have all been cancelled.
68 people were to attend the council meeting held in Ayodhya. Out of this, 22 members from places like Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan had reached Hotel Royal Heritage, the meeting place, on Saturday night. After the sudden cancellation of the meeting, everyone returned. Some returned midway after getting the information and some members went to visit Hanumangarhi.

Indian Wrestling Association President and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh had made serious allegations against women players and after that a sit-in demonstration was held in Delhi. MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh was also supposed to attend the meeting but he did not come. It was discussed on the spot that his sons Karan Bhushan and Prateik Bhushan are present inside the hotel but movement in the hotel has been restricted.
