Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra reviewed various ongoing development works in Ayodhya through video conferencing. In his address, the Chief Secretary said that by January 2024, the construction work of Ram temple will be completed. In the coming days, a new Ayodhya will be established, people will come to see Ayodhya not only from the country but also from abroad. We have to develop Ayodhya based on the character and ideals of Lord Ram of the Ramayana period, for this the suggestions of subject experts should be taken wherever necessary in the ongoing plans. Quality, sustainability and its far-reaching effects should also be included in all works.
He said that proper arrangements should be made by preparing an effective action plan for the safety of the devotees from the country and abroad coming to the Ayodhya Ram temple. Ayodhya should be developed as a food hub. There should be any kind of inconvenience to the devotees coming to Ayodhya, so all the works should be completed on time. A committee should be formed to build hotels, restaurants, Dharamshala, tent city in Ayodhya, hotels, restaurants and Dharamshalas should be built through the committee.
Make a portal or app and give all the information about Ayodhya
He said that a portal or an app related to the Ram temple should be made in Ayodhya, all kinds of information should be available on this portal, so that the devotees coming there could be facilitated. During the review, he directed to speed up the beautification work of Guptar Ghat and other Ghats. He said that the work of beautification, widening and strengthening of Lata Mangeshkar Chowk should be expedited and completed at the earliest.

Prepare DPR for 24 hours water supply
It was informed in the meeting that the Jal Nigam has prepared a DPR for 24×7 pipeline water supply for the entire Municipal Corporation area. 24×7 water supply is being done in many wards of Ayodhya Municipal Corporation. The construction of 33 MLD STP for Ayodhya Cantt area is underway and likely to be completed by the middle of next year. Apart from this, it is proposed to have 6 multilevel parking structures, 6 entry gates, food courts at Guptar Ghat and Surya Kund.
