Home Minister Amit Shah is holding a meeting in Delhi after the raids by the NIA, ED and the police of 13 states on the extremist Muslim organization PFI. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval is also present in this meeting including senior security officers, officers of agencies. It is being discussed in the meeting that what evidence has been found during the raids on PFI and its affiliated organization SDPI and what action can be taken against them. Based on the inputs given by the IB and strict investigation, raids have been conducted in 13 states across the country since this morning. During this, 106 people including the national president of PFI have been arrested by the NIA.

Police of all the states were also active against them since Wednesday night. Now the government is making a plan as to what tough decision should be taken against this organization in the future. The organization describes itself as a religious and social worker, but there have been apprehensions of its links to several murders and extremist incidents in the country. Not only this, the name of this organization also came in the murder of Kanhaiyalal in Udaipur and chemist in Amravati. But the PFI has been denying any role in such cases.

Maximum 22 people arrested from Kerala, 20 from Maharashtra

The highest number of 22 people have been arrested from Kerala in the raids since this morning. Apart from this, 20-20 people have been caught from Maharashtra and Karnataka. The agencies have nabbed 5 people from Andhra Pradesh, 9 from Assam, 3 from Delhi, 4 from Madhya Pradesh and 3 from Puducherry. Apart from this, 10 people have been picked up from Tamil Nadu, 8 from UP and 2 from Rajasthan. These people have been accused of organizing terrorist camps, terror funding and teaching bigotry to the people. The PFI and its political wing SDPI have been under the watch of the Home Ministry for many years.

PFI gets funding from Saudi, Kuwait, people of SIMI are involved

In the past few years, there has been input that PFI has been getting funding from West Asian countries like Qatar, Kuwait, Turkey and Saudi Arabia. This fund has been used for terrorist activities and for teaching fundamentalism lessons to the people. The PFI is also said to have links with the pan-Islamic organization Muslim Brotherhood. It is said that the leadership of the PFI includes the same people who had founded the banned organization SIMI at some point. The purpose of SIMI was to establish an Islamic Caliphate in India.
