Two youths standing waiting for a vehicle on Khair bypass in Bannadevi area of Aligarh died after being hit by a truck on Wednesday night. Both were standing waiting for a vehicle to go home after leaving a wedding ceremony.
According to the police, 35-year-old Rohit of Sarsaul Brahmin Nagla and his neighbor Raja Khair, 23, had gone to attend a wedding ceremony on the bypass. While returning from there, he was standing outside the guest house waiting for a vehicle. Only then the truck passing from there trampled both of them. After this, taking advantage of the night, the driver ran away with the truck. Police reached on the information of passers-by and sent both of them to the medical college, where they were declared brought dead.
Apart from his wife, the deceased Rohit has left behind two children, Nitya and Honey, while Raja was still unmarried. According to the police, a case has been registered and the driver is being searched.
Two people, who were injured in an accident at Chhatari in Bulandshahr on Wednesday, died at the Medical College here.
