Traders say that this is happening due to increase in demand. The remaining stock of last year has also been sold. Traders say that this year the demand for Rang, Gulal, Pichkari is very high. The production in Delhi is less relative to the demand. Hence there is a shortage of goods in the wholesale market.
Retail market will be set up in two-four days
Usually the retail market of colors starts a week before Holi. In such a situation, there is brightness in the wholesale market. But the brightness of the retail market is different. Retail traders are also worried due to shortage of goods in the market.
last year’s stock cleared
Traders told that one of the reasons for the shortage of color, gulal and pichkari in the market this year is that the entire stock of last year has been cleared. Because Yogi government was formed in last year’s assembly elections. Election results came on 10th March and Holi was on 18th March. Goods were cleared from the market even before the election results came. When there is no goods left in the market, then there is bound to be a shortage this year.
Saffron Gulal disappeared from the wholesale market
Not only in the district, but the people of the entire state must have remembered the Holi of the year 2022. After the formation of the BJP government, the saffron gulal’s khumar was rising on the heads of the people. But, saffron gulal is not available in this market. Apart from this, starch gulal is also missing from the market.
Gulal Gun and Balloon Shooter created a buzz

Its price in the wholesale market starts from about two hundred rupees to five hundred rupees. And the cost of the balloon shooter is around Rs 400.
